The Albion Historical Society Archives has been moved to the Local History Room at Albion Public Library. The Local History Room serves as a repository for historic items and documents of the Albion area. The Albion Historical Society Collection is used for research, exhibits, and the preservation of Albion heritage. The Local History Room staff welcomes inquiries and is happy to answer requests from descendants of Albion area citizens concerning their ancestors. The Local History Room welcomes donations of family histories, genealogies, obituaries, photographs of individuals, family portraits, photograph albums, Albion area photographs, school yearbooks, and newspapers, pre-World War I Albion newspapers, club and business records, ledgers, scrapbooks, diaries, Calhoun and Jackson County maps, atlases, history books, and other historical research documents specifically relating to the Albion area.
