How Do I Make Friends at Caring
Community?
- For most people the first step in
building relationships at Caring Community is attending
the Morning Worship Service on Sundays.

- As they become comfortable in this
situation and learn more about the ministry of Caring
Community the next step is generally attendance at some
type of social event
- From here people often move into
involvement in an Adult Discipleship Hour class or some
other type of small group study.
- The final and usually the most
meaningful step is when a person becomes involved in some
type of service or ministry within the church. Experience
has revealed that the most enduring relationships are
built around the common denominators of shared ministry
and a mutual commitment to ongoing spiritual
development.
- Like most things in life, some
individuals will move through these stages very rapidly,
while for others it will be a very gradual progression
from step to step. We encourage people to understand that
building relationships is a process and if they will be
patient and invest themselves in that process the
dividend they receive will be enduring, life-changing
friendships.
- We try to provide encouragement and
opportunities for people to help them become more
involved. However, we strive to let everyone move forward
at a pace that is comfortable to them.
