In Reaching Around we help to coordinate meeting the practical  needs of our church family.  Meeting practical needs involves the areas of providing meals, helping with a move, cleaning homes for the ill, emergency childcare, or providing short-term housing.  General ministry needs involve cards of encouragement, sympathy, birthday, etc.; meals at the church (cooking, serving, setup, cleanup); Sunday morning Coffee Hour; or coordinating and hosting baby and bridal showers.

In Reaching In we help to meet the fellowship needs of women.  We plan and organize get togethers; getaways; and retreats throughout the year for the women of our church family and community.  Some of these include:  Wesleyan Women, Women of Virtue, and Camp Barakel.  We also host our “Spring Banquet”—this is a great opportunity to invite our friends and fellowship together.

In Reaching Out we help to meet the needs in our community.  Community outreach involves identifying and volunteering for worthwhile projects in the community; transporting food/clothing to meet specific needs; visiting newcomers to our church; hosting Mothers of Preschoolers (M.O.P.S.) program or coordinating with our Missions Board to meet the needs of foreign missions.

In Reaching Up we help to meet the spiritual needs of women.  This involves women’s bible studies; prayer ministry (being on a prayer chain, being a part of an intercessory prayer team, prayer walks, Sitting at Jesus’ Feet:  A Woman’s Time of Prayer); support ministry (visitation and encouragement for women in need); or helping women grow (mentoring or being mentored).
