| Friends of the Albion Public Library Need donation of books for Festival of the Forks Book Sale. Books may be dropped off at the library during library hours in August and September. | Comprehensive Services for the
Developmentally Disabled (CSDD) Would you like to expand volunteer experiences for their clients in Albion? They currently clean the Albion Civic Foundation and Albion Volunteer Service Organization offices and Albion parks. CCSD would like to volunteer for elderly citizens who need light yard work or housework completed. Our volunteers along with their supervisors would come to your home on a weekly basis and perform the tasks that you need completed. Our service is free of charge! | Salvation Army Salvation Army's Albion-Homer Service Unit has been providing emergency assistance to families since 1983. Located in the AIM Building at 118 West Porter Street, they help families with food, utilities, shelter and medications. the biggest need right now is for the donation of food and personal items. Volunteers are needed to organize their churches to have Food Donation Sundays once a month.
